【オンライン開催】専門職大学院授業見学会の開催（ELT・GCP）

　専門職大学院の英語教育実践領域（以下、ELT）と発信力実践領域（以下、GCP）において、授業見学会を開催いたします。

　本学学生向けに実際に開講している授業をオンライン(Zoomミーティング)上で見学してもらい、本学大学院の特長である「理論と実践の架橋」を基軸とした授業を体験いただきたいと考えています。本学大学院に興味のある方や進学を検討されている方は、是非ともご参加ください。

　ELTとGCPではそれぞれ以下2つの授業をご用意しています（授業はすべて英語で行われます）。なお、同一授業への複数日程でのご参加はお断りしていますのでご了承ください（同一領域で授業①と②の両方への参加は可能です）。

【ELT】授業①

授業科目	[ELT600] Introduction to Foreign Language Acquisition

授業概要	This course is designed as an introduction to the field of applied linguistics, with an emphasis on how first and second languages are learned, and how this understanding informs teaching practices. Students gain an understanding of the historical development of language acquisition theories and how they lead to modern hypotheses on language learning, and what this means for the pedagogical decisions teachers make.

授業概要	This course serves as an introduction to conducting and understanding first person research. We will be studying both the considerations and the mechanics of experimental design and execution, with heavy emphasis on how to interpret experimental findings.

【GCP】授業①

授業科目	[GCP634] Communication Research Methods

授業概要	This course is designed as a comprehensive introduction to various communication research methods and applications. Topics introduced include but are not limited to qualitative data collection methods (e.g., interview, observation), quantitative data collection skills (e.g., survey, quantitative content analysis, experimental research), various forms of sampling, research ethics, and so on. The class also provides students with opportunities to learn how to interpret qualitative interview data and analyze quantitative data using statistical software.
